Does a crisp packet increase satellite dish gain?

Don't you just know what it's like to have a load of old crisp packets lying around the house? I know I do, so I decided to make use of them the only way I know how: irresponsibly.

The goal of this experiment was to answer the question "Does a crisp packet increase satellite dish gain?". The tools I used were a computer fitted with a SkyStar 2 card, an 80cm satellite dish with a cheap Korean LN [...]

Cheat!

I compared the before & after images of your test results using a forensic analysis tool - and found them to be identical!

I also find that your whole experiment is fundamentally flawed, as everyone knows that ready-salted crisps don't come in a green packet - green is used for either cheese & onion or salt & vinegar depending on whether you're a Golden Wonder or a Walkers type person (people who buy the unbranded Romanian crisps from ASDA don't even get a mention.)

Bar-snack-packet colouration may also depend on how the crisp mafia gangs have carved up the national distribution of fried potato snacks and peanuts. I've always thought that Tony "Prawn Cocktail" Di Stefano was a really nice guy, personally.

And what about bread?!?

Tony "Mother's Pride" Romano has always taken care of his own. Tony "Toastie" Warburton on the other hand is a complete kfcuing sstoer. We don't want his rubbish northern bread down here. We have plenty of crappy mass-produced under-baked cack of our own, thank-you very much.

Let it be known that the two images were identical because the image on screen didn't change; I just took two print screens and cropped them identically.

Also let it be known that all flavours of ASDA-sold crisp come in the same green and white bag. While this may be a taboo subject (and the undisputed cause of the Gulf war) it guarantees equality between this brand's flavouring varieties. I for one will not bow to a world where a crisp packet is judged by its colour.

Well you should care!

How are people who can't read supposed to pick the right crisps?

Shame on ASDA!

I bet Walkers Smokey Bacon would give you an extra half-dB too.
