Rush HD found hiding on Sky
American extreme sports channel Rush HD has been found hiding away in the oddly-numbered doldrums of 28.2e. It's living at 12607 V 27500 and it's named 55355.
It's transmitting in glorious 1920x1080 and it's even carried over DVB-S, but the encoding headers being sent out seem to have got your every day DVB-S PCI card confused, so this is one for set top boxes only... For now. [...]

It can actually be viewed with the latest version of CoreAVC, but things like ffdshow choke on it. Have a screen capture...

Yesterday, I also found a numerically-named (
- didn't make a note...) version of BBC HD on the same transponder as BBC HD itself IIRC.
Not so interesting, but hey...

I saw that one as well...
But what mostly stood out to me today was that Rush HD has gone all NDS on us.
