Digital UK appoints ex-Channel 4 MD as boss
« on: December 22, 2007, 11:47:53 PM »
Digital UK has gone for a broadcasting man as its new chief executive. David Scott takes over the top job at the switchover body in February, replacing Ford Ennals who is leaving to join the sportsware firm Nike.

Scott was part of the management team when Channel 4 launched in 1982 and went onto hold posts including director of finance, managing director and deputy chief executive before leaving in 2005.

In a statement Digital UK chairman, Barry Cox, said: “His understanding of the unique challenges of this project, combined with his many years of wider broadcasting experience, will ensure the process continues to be expertly managed and viewers are kept well informed.”
