Once you stray away from Sky UK at 28E at first sight it always looks like EVERYTHING is in broadcasting in foreign lingos. However, once you get to know your way around the satellites there is actually a reasonable amount of English programming to be found. This section is for regular programming on all the European satellites (APART from 28E!!) where fta English programmes can be found. Please post times in UK time, and list the channel and satellite slot.

There are very simple rules for this thread

 - transmissions must be in English
 - please do not post channels on satellites very hard to get in the UK (eg 7W) - this thread is more for the beginner who needs a bit of guidance as to whats available away from Sky UK who has bought an 80 cm dish from Lidl - not for the expert end of the hobby with the massive 2m dish in the garden....
 - screengrabs are good - it gives a flavour of the channel and the channel logo to look out for

The current satellites, frequencies and encryption status of any channel can be found here:

We have split this into several different topics to stop it turning into one multi page thread full of confusing information. The genres will have some overlap but if you want to add in extra channels please try to post in the most appropriate genre for the programming.
