Was that a regular minidish-specific quad LNB?
If so, I'm not surprised, as they're made for about tuppence. A decent LNB should have minimal variation.

yes is a quad lnb for a minidish was only a tenner on ebay so cant ask for anything more
a decent dish and lnb like the mti would be a very good setup for 28e unlike these cheap minidishes and lnbs
the mti across the feeds there is very little difference in meter readings

just got hold of a smart titanium quad .2db lnb and going to see how this fairs up to the mti on saturday if i can with the weather

well i tried the lnb today and have left it on the dish as its a bit better than the mti but couldn't do a proper test as my meter needed charging up.
the neck on the lnb is a little bit longer than the mti but not much so there is some adjustment
it only cost me 14 pound on ebay, as the seller had bought it by mistake and i won the bidding.
