Pictures from my Fibostöp 90cm with Jaeger SMR1224 motor
« on: July 29, 2008, 04:42:01 PM »
I thought i would post some pictures of my latest setup i had consisting of a Fibostöp 90cm, Jaeger SMR-1224 motor, Inverto Single C120 LNB.

I could receive 66 East to 43 West, also i could get the vertical transponders on Astra2D for 6-7 hours/day and the horizontal transponders on Astra 2D i could get easy 24/7 even when it was raining.

I could also receive Nilesat with this setup, Showtime etc...

Hope you enjoy.

Very nice. I seem to remember that you fitted the support arms from the 120cm dish to your 90cm at some point?

If I could find some cheap, I would do the same. Maybe I'll make some custom stainless arms!  :righton:

I sold the arms to a Germany guy who needed them and they added support but not as much as the 120cm Fibo needed them.

Thanks.

The noise isn't any problem anymore.

Actually i have sold eveything except an old Fibo 90 and 55cm i have in storage and a old DS430N Sky box.

It's no fun anymore, the reason i sold most stuff, have other hobbies that are more enjoying. :)

LOL, I know what you mean. I have more hobbies than I have time to keep up with. I'll always keep my satellite setup though, even if I don't have an unlimited amount of time to experiment with it at the moment.

And you get stressed out because you don't have time to do everything at once, i mean you could have a fulltime job with your hobbies, it takes up so much of your time.

i'm ok as satellite and pc is what i mainly do but can understand you might get bored with it sometime

i'm looking forward to having a decent setup for once, as i nearly gave it all in due to the crappy diseqc motor and cheap dish i currently have.

glad you kept the fibo dish as the other things will be easier to get again but not the dish if you ever go back to satellite stuff
